Mountain scenery etchings are reproduced from artistic--now historic--engravings published in books from the 1870s, such as VistaBooks has often used in its own book reprints.Notecards are 4 1/2" wide by 6" tall when folded, black ink on cream stock. Insides ae blank, providing 2 1/2 pages of writing space.

EAGLE FALLS above Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. "...from an immense clff nearly a thousand feet above the level (of the bay) a cascade pours itself in white wrath. The source of the cascade is in another lake behind the mountains and in a basin fed by the melting of eternal snows and wooded by the stoic pines.
